Conduit Gets Its Game On
Shaping up to be a 2011 buzz word, “gamification” is showing no sign of losing steam (I called it out in a late December Top of Mind post). VentureBeat’s Dean Takahashi heralds gamification as “the new black” and there was even an eponymous conference held last week in San Francisco.
In an effort to be knowledgeable and mindful of the greater social web, the recent article, Social Media, Business, and the Exchange of Value, from ClickZ contributor Dave Evans spoke to the Conduit crew. Going beyond social media marketing, Evans recommends getting involved with social technology. He provides solid examples such as Salesforce.com, Lithium, and Drupal/Acquia, which can create significantly higher levels of engagement and loyalty with your customers. A social technology I’ve had my eye on is OneRiot which partners with leading brands and media companies to provide real-time advertising to reach millions of social influencers.
